Handily, during this tournament Wei Shen is able to collect 10 different ‘Fire Opal Statues’ which grant him the ability to perform more varied and more powerful fighting skills and moves from various different disciplines and arts. I personally found the game to imitate the kung-fu-undercover-cop film genre fairly well, and one certain DLC pack in particular – ‘The Zodiac Tournament’ – realises this in a near-satirical manner, as you can see below at the beginning of this mission: Without spoiling the main storyline, whilst it is fairly flat and serious compared to other open-world games, as often reviews have pointed out, it does have its little quirks and jokes, especially when you add some DLC into the mix.
